NOISEmakers

NOISEmakers? What kind of a word is THAT? It’s a word we invented, to describe a bunch of people in all kinds of scientific and engineering jobs across the country. They’re happy to talk about what they do for a living, and how they got into it, so other people taking exams and going to university have an idea of some of the options open to them. And before you ask, NOISE stands for New Outlooks In Science and Engineering. In this section, you’ll find out more about each of the NOISEmakers, what they do, and what they like. This year, you’ll see them in the media, and you’ll see them at science and engineering events across the country too. They’re all over the place – making a noise, you might say.
