Early-career researchers in the physical sciences, engineering and mathematics who:

  • Are passionate about science, engineering or maths
  • Can  communicate their enthusiasm for the discipline to the general public
  • Are good communicators and happy to work with the media
  • Are keen to develop public engagement and communication skills
  • Are up for a challenge!

NOISE (New Outlooks In Science & Engineering) is a UK-wide campaign funded by the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).  By providing media and public engagement training, we aim to provide early-career researchers with the tools to communicate the importance and relevance of their research to a wide public audience.
